In support of Women’s History Month, The University of Alabama’s Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in partnership with The University of Alabama at Birmingham Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is excited to host Tina Tchen for a virtual keynote presentation. In honor of this year's theme of celebrating women telling our stories” ' which recognizes 'women, past and present, who have been active in all forms. Tina Tchen is an example of being an agent of change she spent her career fighting for women. Tina has been a voice for women during her time in the White House and for TIME’S UP Foundation, overseeing the organizations’ strategic plans to change culture, companies, and laws to make work safe, fair, inclusive, equitable for women of all kinds. Guests will learn from Tina's personal stories and experiences. In addition, participants will have the chance to gain valuable resources concerning allyship. This event will take place on Thursday, March 23, 2023 beginning at 6pm on Zoom. Participants can register to attend this virtual keynote.
