Join the J. Frank Barefield Jr. College of Arts & Sciences and the Department of Anthropology, for a lecture event featuring Dr. Asher Rosinger. His talk, "Why Water and Extreme Climatic Events Matter for Health and Human Biology," will explore the critical role of water and climate in shaping human health and biology. Dr. Rosinger will begin by examining the evolutionary and immediate factors that drive human water needs, the consequences of failing to meet those needs, and the coping strategies people use to manage water stress. He will then present a case study of a historic drought in northern Kenya, offering insight into how climate change intensifies water challenges and influences human biology and well-being.
