View map Free Event Add to calendarUniversity of Alabama students who sign up to volunteer at the Moundville Native American Festival are invited to Moundville Archaeological Park on October 3, 2025 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. for a free and exclusive evening of tours, food, and performances! This is a unique way for students to experience Moundville, give back through volunteering, and connect with Native artists and performers.

How do I sign up to volunteer?
If you would like to sign up to be a volunteer at the Moundville Native American Festival, fill out our Volunteer and MNAF Liability Release Forms or fill it out upon your arrive at Volunteer Headquarters at Moundville Archaeological Park.
If you choose to work two shifts in one day (morning and afternoon), you’ll receive a free Festival t-shirt and a lunch!

Moundville Archaeological Park is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69 and the physical address is 634 Mound State Parkway, Moundville, AL 35474-6413.
