DESCRIPTION:The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference is 
 the biggest undergraduate research event hosted at The University of Alabam
 a. Faculty\, staff\, students and community members are invited to attend t
 he conference\, observe the students’ work and talk to them about their res
 earch.  \n\n \n\nStudents will be stationed around the conference center wi
 th posters detailing their research or creative activity. More than 275 sub
 missions were accepted for presentation\, and over 400 students are expecte
 d to present their research at the annual event. \n\n \n\nThose selected fo
 r presentation will be judged in one of eight categories: social sciences\,
  health sciences\, fine arts and humanities\, business\, computer science\,
  life and natural sciences\, engineering\, and creative activity.
