In their final headline concert of the year, the University of Alabama Contemporary Ensemble is proud to present "What If We Were Wild?", a collection of pieces celebrating the human creative spirit. The playful irreverence of Juri Seo's "Four" contrasts with the quiet intensity of Kennedy Taylor Dixon's "pretty on paper". Two world premieres, by student composer Alexandria Franck and faculty Colin Kemper, showcase the diverse talents of UA's composition studio. The concert will reach a thrilling conclusion with Louis Andriessen's marathon minimalist piece, "Workers Union", conducted by Guest Artist Anthony DiMauro.
