Agility is the University of Alabama's Continuous Improvement Program using Lean Higher Education as a guide. It's a way to make our day-to-day work better. The program provides a Way of Thinking, a Way of Behaving, and a Set of Tools to help us continuously improve by working together. Learn more -  Agility Continuous Improvement.

Every process has the potential to do a little better. Or, in some cases, a lot better. This course presents a methodology and the benefits of process improvement, to guide your improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance of your processes.

 

The process improvement methodology presented is composed of five phases, and the course focuses on the first two:

Assemble the right people Define the current state Collect current state data and analyze root causes Design the future state Develop an implementation plan
