About Us: IJM is a global organization that protects people in poverty from violence by rescuing victims, bringing criminals to justice, restoring survivors, and strengthening local law enforcement. Bama IJM is a group of UA students dedicated to making a tangible impact. We do this by raising funds, advocating for the marginalized, and shedding light on the pressing issue of modern-day slavery. Through our partnership with IJM, we believe we can make a difference right where we are.

What is THREADS? Every semester, Bama IJM hosts a pop-up thrift shop called 'Threads' to raise awareness and fundraise for global anti-human trafficking efforts! 100% of the proceeds go to prevention, intervention, and restoration efforts for survivors of human trafficking. Join us on the Student Center Lawn on Wednesday, April 17th, from 10:00 a.m. - 6 p.m. (come & go) #thrift4freedom
