Librarians from The University of Alabama Libraries can help you with all aspects of the research process: from formulating the research question to systematically searching databases to managing your citations. Join Karleigh Riesen, Lance Simpson, and Alex Boucher for a series of virtual workshops via Zoom that will demystify the systematic review process and teach advanced research skills.

Title: Basic Search Strategies for Systematic Reviews

Summary: University of Alabama librarians Karleigh Riesen, Lance Simpson, and Alex Boucher will demonstrate the search strategies & concepts necessary for an effective review. Among other things, we will discuss identifying relevant databases, keyword searching, search filters, field searching, and the use of controlled vocabulary.
