DESCRIPTION:In recognition of Native American Heritage Month\, the Intercul
 tural Diversity Center continues the TEDTalk Tuesday Series featuring commu
 nity organizer and activist Tai Simpson. Simpson discusses how the way we b
 ehave politically\, socially\, economically and ecologically isn’t working 
 by sharing the creation myth of her Nez Perce tribe. Participants will lear
 n how she advocates for a return to the 'old ways' guided by Indigenous wis
 dom that emphasize balance\, community and the importance of intergeneratio
 nal storytelling in order to protect what's sacred. This event will take pl
 ace on Tuesday\, November 7\, 2023 from 12-1pm in the Intercultural Diversi
