The Turnitin Similarity Score represents the percentage of a students’ writing that similar to something found in Turnitin’s online database or someone else’s paper. Similarity doesn’t necessarily mean plagiarism has occurred, though.  Join us to discuss how to interpret and refine the report, why a high similarity score doesn’t always indicate plagiarism, and how to use the Similarity Report as a teaching tool.
