A Sweet Start to the Semester is a Candyland-themed event designed to bring students together for a fun and engaging experience. Participants will navigate a custom Candy Land map, collecting stamps on their 'Candy Land Passport' as they visit various tables. Once they’ve completed the journey, their prize will be a refreshing popsicle from a popsicle truck!

UA’s Weeks of Welcome (WOW) is eight weeks of programs coordinated by University Programs and the Division of Student Life to help all students find resources, build community, and have fun. Kicking off on Sunday, August 17, we are thrilled to share we will have over 100 events on the WOW calendar for 2025. We want to find ways for you to meet people, get involved, and find your place on campus. All events are FREE and open to all UA students. All you have to do is show up and we'll take care of the rest!
