The State of the Queer Union is the Queer Student Association's annual key education event. This year will feature our keynote speaker Carmarion Anderson-Harvey, director of the Alabama Human Rights Campaign, as well as a panel with folks from across the state of Alabama. Together, our speaker and guests will present a comprehensive overview of the struggles facing the LGBTQ+ community in the past year and seek to engage students with the tools necessary to make a difference within the University of Alabama community, the state of Alabama, and our country. We invite all members of the UA community to join us in the Lloyd Hall auditorium for an evening of engagement and important dialogue.
