For a fourth year, University of Alabama students enrolled in classes taught by historian-artist Sharony Green will participate in Slow Art Day, an international event. On this day, dozens of museums and galleries ask their guests to slowly look at one thing. This year, UA students agreed to be part of an experimental video that invites attention to how our ability to walk freely is a historical development. This video will be projected on Gorgas House Museum. Built in 1829, this museum is UA’s oldest campus dwelling.
