SimplyAnalytics is a web-based mapping application that allows users to create detailed maps using demographic and marketing variables. With data from the Decennial Census and American Community Survey (ACS) being a primary focus, this workshop will give participants the opportunity to observe and test out the features of SimplyAnalytics in order to analyze demographic data.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: 

• Navigate the SimplyAnalytics interface and create customized projects 
• Map target locations and compare them across Census Block Groups
• Identify trends over time for specific data variables
• Overlay businesses onto mapped demographic data
• Combine locations of similar geographies to form user-defined locations, such as a target neighborhood
• Apply filters to hone in on the target of study
