DESCRIPTION:On January 22 from 2:30 pm until 4:00 pm\, visitors aged 55 or 
 older are invited to the Alabama Museum of Natural History's Grand Gallery
  for a free event to learn how to recognize local birds through size\, sha
 pe\, and color and how to use bird watching tools! This class is the perfe
 ct starting point for back porch birders and forest explorers alike. Get h
 ands-on practice with field guides\, binoculars\, and explore feather stru
 cture up close! Even if you're new to birding\, there are no hawk-ward que
 stions!\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\nSeniors in Science is a one-of-a-kind opportunit
 y for our community members aged 55 or older to access scientific informat
 ion tailored specifically for them. This programming series allows us to i
 ntroduce seniors to a specialist in a field\, provide them hands-on explor
 ation of tools/specimens\, and encourage community involvement by getting 
 them connected to organizations and groups in our area.\n\n \n\n \n\nHow t

 am is being held inside the Alabama Museum of Natural History's Grand Gall
 ery\, located inside Smith Hall on The University of Alabama campus. The s
 treet address is 427 Sixth Avenue\, Tuscaloosa\, AL 35487.\n\n \n\n \n\nPa
 rking\n\n \n\nThere are five dedicated visitor parking spaces in the lot b
 ehind Smith Hall that can be accessed from Hackberry Drive. Upon arrival\,
  once you pay for admission\, you will receive a parking pass receipt that
  will entitle you to free parking in our museum visitor parking spaces. In
  addition\, there is a parking deck located at Campus Drive and Hackberry 
 Lane. The cost for visitor parking in the deck is $1 for the first hour an
 d $2 for each additional hour.  To reach the parking deck\, take Hackberry
  Lane to Campus Drive East\, and the parking deck is on the right.\n\n \n\
 n \n\nPublic Transportation\n\n \n\nThe Tuscaloosa Trolley runs from the c
 ity's downtown parking deck to campus.\n\n \n\nVisit the Tuscaloosa Transi
 t Authority website to find the downtown deck and a map of the trolley's U
