Visit Moundville Archaeological Park on November 18, 2023 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm to learn how to make (and take home) a small ceramic vessel with Mary Smith of the Muscogee Creek Nation of Oklahoma. This event will take place in front of Jones Archaeological Museum or inside the Conference Center, pending weather conditions. This program is free with park admission. Capacity will be set at a maximum of 30 people.

  • Seniors (55-years-old and older) – $7
  • Students – $6
  • Under 5 – Free
  • Moundville Residents – Free
  • Native American visitors – Free with tribal membership card
  • UA Museums members – Free with museum membership

Location

This program will take place either in front of or inside the Jones Archaeological Museum, pending weather conditions. Moundville is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69 and the physical address is 634 Mound State Parkway, Moundville, AL 35474-6413.
