On Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 2 p.m., Dylan Taylor of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System will be leading an ephemeral walk at Moundville Archaeological Park! Visitors will need to meet Dylan at Mound B.

The first walk will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and the second walk will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

The walks are planned to go down the Douglas Nature Trail by Mound B and walking all the way to the Black Warrior River.

This program is free with paid park admission.

• Moundville Residents – Free
• Native American visitors – Free with tribal membership card
• UA Museums members – Free with museum membership
• Circle of Champions members – Free with museum membership

Moundville is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69 and the physical address is 634 Mound State Parkway, Moundville, AL 35474-6413.
