Ram Navmi marks the birth anniversary of Rama, who is perhaps one of the most widely worshipped deity amongst the Hindu fraternity. The event is a celebration of victory over evil and the epic Ramayana, which describes Rama's life story, educates its readers on the path to righteousness. The UA Vedic society will organize an event to commemorate this day, through guest lectures, cultural performances and satvik food.
