Level - Intermediate. It is assumed that you have some knowledge of R and are able to create variables and run basic functions. If you are new to R, please email the instructor or come 30 minutes before class to get caught up. 

It is recommended that you bring your own computer, but there will be computers provided. 

In this session, we will cover: 

  • Basic data visuaization options for qualitative and quantitative data
    • Histograms, bar charts, stem-and-leaf, line, etc.
  • Tips on how to make your data easier to understand
  • How to make publication-ready plots

After the session there will be a 30 minute Q/A and Open Lab.

Prerequisits: R and your preferred IDE is downloaded and ready to go on your computer.
