The purpose of the event is this connection – discussing queer history and allowing students to see the threads of sameness and difference through their discussions with guests: UA LGBTQ alumni, members of the Tuscaloosa Lesbian Coalition, and anyone else that is able to come and wants to talk to students. The event will open with a discussion from the Tuscaloosa Lesbian Coalition, and then will break down into individual group discussions with prompts. This event is informal and fun and filled with informative and collaborative conversations.
