Add to calendarThe Intercultural Diversity Center continues its Pop-Up Shop Series focusing on LGBTQ+ History Month. The annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. It was founded in 1994 by Missouri high-school history teacher Rodney Wilson. Participants will have the opportunity to recognize LGBTQ+ pioneers, explore the Stonewall Uprising, see the Queer History Exhibit, and view additional online exhibits, expand their knowledge through conversation starters and video presentations. Desserts and refreshments will be provided. This event will take place on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 12-2pm in the Intercultural Diversity Center (2100 Student Center).
