PhD Writing Workshop Luncheon

Join us Tuesday, September 8, from Noon to 1 p.m. in the Summersell Room (251 ten Hoor), for a presentation and group discussion of a dissertation chapter from History PhD candidate David Parker.

Parker will present from “‘Daily More Anxious to Go to California’: Gender and Ex-Confederate Westward Migration after the American Civil War,” a chapter in his current dissertation project.

This is a feedback-oriented workshop focused on discussing ways to improve the presenter’s work. To allow for an in-depth look at the chapter, a copy will be emailed in advance to everyone who registers.

Lunch from Mellow Mushroom will be provided for attendees. Visit our jotform to register.

This event is sponsored by the Charles G. Summersell Chair of Southern History and the Frances S. Summersell Center for the Study of the South.
