Join IFLE, along with ED’s International Affairs Office (IAO) for a moderated panel discussion into current topics and emerging trends in international education. Panelists and will share their perspectives on international education from their respective roles spanning many areas of international education including study abroad, foreign language learning, international education research, government-funded programs, and beyond.

Moderator: Dr. Dawn Michele Whitehead – Vice President of the Office of Global Citizenship for Campus, Community, and Careers, Association of American Colleges and Universities

Panelists: Dr. Leah Mason – Deputy Director of Research, Evaluation and Learning; Institute of International Education, Ms. Aditi Walunj – First Secretary (Education, Science and Technology), Embassy of India; Dr. Brian Gibson – Vice President for Language Programs, American Councils for International Education; Dr. Jennifer Donaghue – Assistant Provost, International Education, The George Washington University; Dr. Rebecca Rubin Damari – Director of Research at the National Foreign Language Center (NFLC) at the University of Maryland, College Park.
