Personal Statement Writing Workshop

Are you working on a personal statement for graduate school, law school, medical/nursing school, a professional program (like the MBA or MSW), or a scholarship opportunity?

The UA Writing Center is offering a fall workshop on personal statement writing on Tuesday, October 18 at 5:00 pm in Lloyd 227.  A panel of experts will share tips on what admissions committees are looking for in the personal statement, and will take questions from the audience.  After the panel, writing center tutors will be on hand to provide feedback on drafts of your statement or to help you get started.

There will be pizza!
