About this Event
Add to calendarWe live in a culture with rigid ideals about food, weight, and size, so it can be difficult to recognize
when our thoughts and behaviors around food become dangerous. Join Lacey Vogel, LMHC, Clinical
Training Specialist at The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders, to explore the impacts of social
media, pervasive “wellness trends”, and family and school cultures’ effects on students’ understandings of
health and nutrition. Students will be able to identify warning signs when they’re eating behaviors become
rigid, and learn how to manage their thoughts and feelings about food.
