The University of Alabama Teaching Academy invites you to this year’s On-Site and Online Learning Innovation Summit, a gathering designed to celebrate and advance innovative teaching practices. For the first time, the summit expands beyond virtual teaching to include those who teach in person as well, creating a space where all educators can come together to share ideas and strategies. OLIS is now a two-day event!

With the theme “Teach to Inspire,” OLIS focuses on motivating and engaging students at a time when challenges and distractions are greater than ever. Sessions will highlight innovative course design, experiential learning opportunities and the use of emerging technologies such as generative AI to enhance both classroom and online instruction.
