To maintain social distancing traditional instructor-led training (ILT) courses and workshops are now being offered in a virtual format via Zoom.
New Management Orientation is for those who are new to a supervisory/management position at The University of Alabama and will be supervising non-student staff. This includes new hires as well as existing employees who are new to a supervisory/management role. Current members of management are welcome to attend.
The purpose of New Management Orientation is to provide new members of management with an overview of:

Registration and Access Confirmation:
Employees registering to attend a course or workshop will receive:
1. An email notification from UA LMS confirming their registration.
2. A reminder email notification from UA LMS one day before the session.
3. An email notification from hrlearninganddevelopment@ua.edu including Course Handouts and the Virtual Meeting Access Link approximately one day before the session.
