MES Rising Authors is a program Pi Beta Phi has been doing with Mathews Elementary for the past few weeks. For 5 weeks, 8 of our members have been going to Mathews and helping 13 students write and illustrate their own picture book. On Saturday the 23rd, we will be having an event at our house where the students as well as their parents can come watch the students present their books. It will be on our back patio (weather permitting) and there will be cookies provided from Publix as well as bottled water.
