In this installment of the Blackburn Institute's LeaderShops, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from three former local government officials:

  • Mr. Matt Calderone - 2011 Blackburn Fellow and former Tuscaloosa City Councilor
  • Sen. Clyde Chambliss - former Autauga County Commissioner
  • Mrs. Tammie Williams - Blackburn Advisory Board member and former Pell City Board of Education member


The panelists will discuss their campaigns, experiences as elected officials, and the best practices for attendees to engage with local government. Attendees will participate in a practical activity that will help them prepare to successfully contact their local officials.
