In this installment of the Blackburn Institute's LeaderShops, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from three campaign professionals:

  • Bradley Davidson - Executive Director of Conservation Alabama (2002 Blackburn Fellow, Blackburn Advisory Board member, and Blackburn Society member)
  • Joe Eatmon - Councilor-District 1, City of Tuscaloosa and Head Basketball Coach at Shelton State Community College (Blackburn Advisory Board member)
  • Britney Garner - Owner of Garner Consulting Services (2006 Blackburn Fellow and Blackburn Advisory Board member)

The panelists will share insights from their experiences working in and around political campaigns, offering guidance on what it takes to run for office, support a candidate, or get involved in campaign organizing. Attendees will participate in an interactive activity designed to build practical skills for future civic engagement through campaign work.
