Keywords & Controlled Vocabulary: A Guide to Systematic Review Searching

Wednesday March 30, 12 pm – 1 pm (Zoom)

University of Alabama librarians Karleigh Riesen, Lance Simpson, and Alex Boucher will discuss keywords and controlled vocabulary related to systematic review research. This workshop will explore strategies for brainstorming search terms, demonstrate thesaurus tools within databases, and walk participants through creating a search string using both keywords and controlled vocabulary in order to create an effective systematic review search.
