Jeremiah's Garden is a local community garden that grows around 10,000 lbs of fresh produce for food pantries in the West Alabama community. Their goal is to fight food insecurity and provide the food insecure with nutritious, fresh, and affordable food options. The garden is completely volunteer-run, so students like you are a huge help. Come garden with us on Mondays 11-1, you might even get to bring a few veggies home with you. Volunteers meet at the CSL in the Student Center and take a van to the garden.
