Presented by Moriah Smoot from the Office for Innovation and Commercialization (OIC). The OIC is primarily responsible for protecting and commercializing the inventions and discoveries generated by UA faculty, staff, and student employees. OIC advises UA researchers on invention protection, the patenting process, licensing, and the formation of start-up enterprises based on UA technologies. This session will cover the Invention Disclosure process, as well as how and when to work with OIC.
