Introduction to Working with Data in Unix Shell In-Person

In this workshop, attendees will learn how to: 

• Navigate, view, and edit files and directories within a terminal window 

• Practice common Unix commands  

• Connect multiple commands using pipelines  

There is no prior experience required! Lab computers have the appropriate software and we will provide access to a Unix server. If you would like to bring your own device, please contact Lance Simpson ahead the workshop for assistance in setup.
