About the Workshop:
This workshop will provide an overview of NVivo, data analysis software to support qualitative and mixed methods research. NVivo is freely available to all UA faculty, staff, and students. This introductory workshop will cover the following: Uploading and organizing data; Creating and organizing codes; Coding techniques; Reviewing what you've coded; Running basic queries such as word frequency. This workshop will be useful to researchers who are new to NVivo as well as those just starting an NVivo project.
About the Facilitator:
Sara Maurice Whitver is the Digital Humanities Librarian at University of Alabama Libraries. They support digital humanities and qualitative research by facilitating workshops on a variety of topics in addition to the other services offered at the Alabama Digital Humanities Center.
