In honor of October being National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the SGA and the Crossing Points Program will be co-hosting a panel highlighting the importance of disability-inclusive employment practices. Panelists will include employers in the Tuscaloosa area that have worked to create an space inclusive of employees with disabilities, students from the Crossing Points Program with meaningful work experiences, and the Crossing Points Employment Coordinator. Student attendees can expect to learn about how to make the spaces that they may occupy in the future more inclusive for employees with disabilities.
