This event is free and open to all and currently staged on the quad . This event will help in increased cultural exchange and social activities. The presence of UA community including students, faculties and families at this event will act as a tool to promote student engagement across various backgrounds. Holi is a festival celebrated to welcome spring, joy and love in everyone's life by playing with colors with each other. It will encourage the coming together of different people and exchange culture among everyone. Our primary aim with organizing the Holi event is to showcase India's rich culture, diversity, and traditions. We strive to foster connections between people of multicultural and multilingual background through our events. The cultural performances will reflect the music and dance forms of India. NSA will be collaborating with us and showcasing a Nepalese element of the Holi celebration, too. It's a great occasion for people from all backgrounds and walks of life to come together in this celebration and have a great time. In addition, we’ll have fun activities aimed at bringing our audience together. Finally, we'll be serving a delicious Indian meal at the event. The Holi event is free and open to everyone, and we'll be sending our invitations to students, faculty/staff, and community members to be a part of our celebration. We will be using FDA approved non-toxic colors at the event. We are expecting a record crowd of around 550-600 people joining our Holi celebration.
