On August 17, 2024 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, the Gorgas House Museum will be hosting free activities (making lemonade, churning butter, and washing clothes) for all ages on the Gorgas House Front Lawn!

The Gorgas House Museum is located at 810 Capstone Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35487.

Directions

The Gorgas House Museum is located just off the Quadrangle of The University of Alabama campus, at 810 Capstone Drive (one block west of the Amelia Gayle Gorgas Library, at the corner of McCorvey and Capstone Drives).

Parking

Parking in Faculty/Staff parking spaces are free on Saturdays (except on UA Gameday Saturdays). Please note that Bama Parking still enforces Residential and Reserved parking spaces.

Construction

Parts of The University of Alabama campus, including around the Gorgas House Museum, are currently undergoing construction. Red lines on UA’s campus map outline where those areas under construction are.
