Hi, Tide Day is an annual event presented by the Student Government Association to foster a welcoming environment for all students on the day after of the First Day of Class. During this event, we welcome students by giving away the exclusive 'Hi, Tide Day' T-Shirts and a sweet frozen treat to all students and faculty for free! We will have tabling areas set up with our tent giving students an opportunity to interact with each other and their SGA Representatives. Additionally, students are encouraged to wear 'Hi, Tide' nametags to get an increased sense of both belongingness with other students and hospitality from the Division of Student Life at the Capstone.
