From April 8 to May 2, the Gorgas House Museum invites you to see our new exhibit, “Gathering in Gorgas House”! The exhibit explores how and where the first female students at The University of Alabama would gather and build a community together on a heavily male-dominated campus.

In addition to this exhibit, the Gorgas House Museum will be hosting a study hall for UA students on April 22 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.. Students from all disciplines are welcome and light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

The Gorgas House Museum will operate under its normally scheduled hours of operation (Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM), except for Wednesday mornings between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM when UA Custodial performs a thorough cleaning of the museum.

Admission

General admission is $2.00

Admission is free for current University of Alabama faculty, staff, students, and members of University of Alabama Museums, the Bryant Museum Circle of Champions, and the University Alumni Association.
