The University Libraries Research Data Services “Friday Code Demos and Hacks” is an informal meeting where anyone is welcome to come, learn, and contribute, regardless of experience level. The general format is to provide a 15-20 minute demonstration of how to use a particular technology or program. Following the demonstration, we’ll discuss use-cases, ideas, and even live code with audience members, depending upon where the discussion leads us. In this session, we will focus on using Python for interacting and acquiring information from web service APIs.
