Family Night at the Museum is a FREE event brought to you by the Alabama Museum of Natural History and The University of Alabama’s Graduate School. This year’s theme is Around the World! This campus and community-wide event will bring graduate departments together to showcase their content area through an interactive activity. The event will also feature a chance to win door prizes, a multilingual story time for kids, and the first 200 people will receive a bag full of goodies!

Dates / Times

Family Night at the Museum will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm on March 4, 2023.

Admission for this program is FREE.

Volunteer Opportunities

We need at least 25 volunteers for this event to help with set up, take down, goodie bag station, passport stations, food table, helping departments, and many other spots. The event is from 5:00-7:30, but volunteer shifts are as follows: 3:30-6:30, 5:00-8:00, and 3:30-8:00. If you are able to stay for multiple shifts or even the whole event, that would be great!

Sign-Up through Bama Pulse’s online form.

Night at the Museum will be located at the Alabama Museum of Natural History (Smith Hall, The University of Alabama) and Lloyd Hall (The University of Alabama).
