View map $6 and $4 Add to calendarOn Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., the Alabama Museum of Natural History invites visitors to go on a guided tours of our most popular exhibits! We’ll meet in the Smith Hall lobby at the tour’s start time. The tour is estimated to be 45-60 minutes long and will be accessible to those 5-years-old and up and for those needing elevator access.
Admission
Tickets prices for these guided tours are $6 per adult and $4 per K-12 student. We accept cash, card, and check. Please note that our normal admission discount options do not apply to Guided Tour prices.
How to Get Tickets
Tickets will be available in the Museum’s gift shop on a first-come first-served basis. The maximum number of people is 60 per group. If the tour is sold out before you arrive, spots are not guaranteed. There are no refunds if you buy your ticket and then do not come to your tour time. Purchasing a guided tour ticket counts as admission payment for the entire day and visitors can explore the Museum before or after their guided tour. Visitors will need to show Museum staff their receipts or provide party name/number.
Location
The Alabama Museum of Natural History is located inside Smith Hall on The University of Alabama campus.
Parking
Behind Smith Hall, we only have 5 spot so please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour to allow time to park, purchase your tickets, and still be on time. You will not be able to join the tour after it has begun.
