The purpose of the event is to celebrate women writers, particularly Hispanic/Latinx women writers. We will have a guest speaker, Liliana Colanzi, who will respond to interview-style questions followed by an open Q/A and discussion with attendees. Liliana Colanzi is an award-winning author and Latin American literature professor at Cornell University. She will meet with us via Zoom, but students will be able to attend either in-person or virtually. We hosted a Día de las escritoras event last year and are hoping to continue the tradition for many years to come.
