DESCRIPTION:The Indian Students Association of Tuscaloosa (ISAT) is delight
 ed to be back this year with one of the biggest festivals on campus\, Diwa
 li. The new moon \nnight from Kartik (fall) month of the lunar calendar wh
 en lighted up is the perfect time to celebrate the victory of light over d
 arkness\, good over evil\,\nknowledge over ignorance\, and unity in divers
 ity. In recent years\, Diwali has been organized on campus\, attracting hu
 ndreds of people\, especially UA \nstudents\, who share this festival by i
 mmersing in Indian culture. Last year\, over 600 people made their presenc
 e to enjoy the cultural activities\, dances\,\nsongs\, fashion walks\, Hen
 na booth\, and delicious Indian food. Adding to this were the show-stopper
  fireworks towards the end\, echoing the tradition in \nIndia. This year a
 lso\, ISAT would like to organize Diwali with the same enthusiasm and a hu
 ge crowd to bring the UA community closer by giving them a\nwonderful expe
 rience of mouthwatering food\, groovy dances\, songs\, a Heena counter\, a
  photo booth\, a sparkling fireworks show at the end.
