Proposed Program Title: Discover Alabama, While Watching the Madness

Residents will be welcome to come to a March Madness Basketball Tournament Watch Party which will be hosted in the 4th Floor East Wing common area. Food will be provided and it will be a great chance for residents to meet and connect over a common interest. They will also be learning about what campus and the state has to offer when it comes to physical activities.

This falls under Develop because I will be giving information on all of the resources to which students have access when it comes to physical activities. i.e. Facilities, intramurals, river equipment rentals, aquatics center, butler Field, sailing club, etc. Also, will talk about some great outdoor options like Lake Nicol, Lake Tuscaloosa, and a couple Alabama State Parks which are great hiking spots. The goal of this program is to watch some basketball and help the residents learn more about the activities that the university and state of Alabama has to offer.
