The date for this event has changed. Initially, this presentation was scheduled for Sept. 16, but that date is Yom Kippur, a Jewish High Holy Day. Upon calendar review, we recognized this program planning error. We are committed to the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion, and we want to acknowledge and respect our campus colleagues and students who observe this holiest of days. If you previously registered, you do not need to take action.

In this webinar, attendees will be introduced to Critical Race Theory by two leading scholars in the field, UA Law professors Jean Stefancic and Richard Delgado, who together wrote the book “Critical Race Theory: An Introduction.” First published in 1995, the book is on its third reprint with New York University Press. Registration is required: tinyurl.com/deiidcevents. For more information, contact Dr. Cassander Smith at clsmith17@ua.edu.
