The Crimson Conserve Energy Competition will be taking place from September 11th - 24th between UA Residential Halls! It is a competition that will challenge students to conserve energy in their dorms! The more you lower your energy consumption, the more likely you will be to win a special prize! Some ways students can conserve energy is by turning off their lights, unplugging electronics, taking cooler & shorter showers, utilizing their fans, & using LED bulbs! During the Crimson Conserve, the annual Light Bulb Swap will be taking place during the first week of the competition from September 11- 15. The Light Bulb Swap gives students the chance to change out their CFL or incadescent lights for an energy-efficient LED bulb! At the end of the 2 week competition, the residence hall that saved the most energy will be rewarded!
