Join the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) and the OIT’s Audio/Visual Solutions (AVS) team for a special Panopto workshop on how to easily record lectures in the classroom using Panopto. In this workshop, we will guide users through recording a class session with Panopto using the room’s audio-visual system, including how to quickly start Panopto, how to select the room's video and audio settings, and more. We will also cover video management, editing and sharing of videos using Panopto in Blackboard.

This in-person workshop is designed to benefit all instructors, faculty and graduate student assistants who currently use, or would like to use Panopto for in-person or virtual classes.

Registration preferred, but not required.

Panopto is UA’s media manager and lecture capture tool. Panopto allows instructors to record lectures and other audio, video, and screen activity and automatically upload recordings to a Blackboard course. Recordings may be streamed online or through the Panopto mobile app. Panopto is available in most UA classrooms and to download to personal computers. Learn more about Panopto online at https://cit.ua.edu/technologies/panopto/.
