Brian A. Rankin serves as Corporate Senior Vice President, Senior Deputy General Counsel for Comcast Corporation. In this role, he is an officer of the parent corporation and is primarily responsible for leading a team providing counsel for legal and regulatory matters affecting Comcast’s cable, broadband, commercial services and other businesses. Brian joined Comcast in 2005.

Prior to joining Comcast, Brian served in senior legal positions for XO Communications, Aerial Communications and MCI Communications where he worked on a wide array of legal and regulatory matters. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and Illinois.

Brian earned his J.D. from DePaul University, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Advocacy, an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama (with Honors) and a B.S. from Illinois State University. He currently serves on the board of directors and as Vice Chair of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia.
